We had a fantastic time at Science Works on Friday.
The highlights were the Sportsworks Exhibition, Planetarium and the Cool Stuff Show.
It was so interesting to see Space from a rocket and some of the planets and star patterns in the night sky.
The Cool Stuff exhibition was really fun, we saw that when objects are frozen with liquid nitrogen, they get smaller.

This week in Maths we are learning how to measure accurately.
We took our shoes off and ordered them from smallest to largest.
Today we are going to trace our feet and measure the width and length using informal (counters, blocks etc) and formal (centimeters) units.

Welcome back to school for Term 4!
What a welcome it has been with such hot weather. Yesterday when we checked the temperature it was 33 degrees. Today it is going to be hot again.
We are looking forward to a great term and our new inquiry topic is Solids, Liquids and Gases. Yesterday we talked about what we already know about this topic and we talked about what we would like to find out. We looked at some science experiments on You Tube and came up with some good ideas. These posters give definitions of solids, liquid and gases.
